Are you a people person and interested in gaining a recognised qualifcation in Customer Service? If so, this fantastic opportunity is for you!

The successful applicant for the role of Apprentice Customer Service Adviser will be conducting a mix of:

  • Outbound Customer Survey and Feedback questionnaires, client contact, answering calls and responding to emails from prospective and existing clients.
  • Handling and directing external calls and contact coming into the office and occaisionally making sales calls.

You will be trained how to engage with clients and prospects over the phone in order to make appointments, promote products and over handle enquiries.

You will work with both the sales and marketing teams on projects.

Training on the use of CRM systems, and Microsoft office tools and applications will also be provided.

Qualifications required

GCSEs at Grade E or above in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications.

Future prospects

As a growing outsourced marketing company, the apprentice has the ability to potentially be offered a full-time or part-time role as an Customer Service Adviser, with prospects to become a Senior CS Adviser, Team Leader, Campaign Manager or Training Manager or Office Manager all with increases in salary, package and responsibility within the business.

Things to consider

We are based in Littlehampton close to main public transport links along the south coast. CRB checks may be required. We expect every applicant to have done some research on the business prior to interview. The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Training provider

The successful applicant will study the Level 2 Customer Service Related Apprenticeship Framework. This includes Health and Safety, Roles and Responsibilities and a Technical Certificate. Candidates that do not hold GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Maths, English and ICT will be required to sit Functional Skills in these subjects.
