As a B2B lighting consultant, you will be:

- In the field visiting potential customers on a daily basis.

- Armed with a Light Lux Meter to measure light levels and specially designed calculation programs

- Be able to offer companies a price (including finance if necessary) to enable them to save money and reduce health and safety risks.

This is not a hard sell – you will need to be very consultative in your approach; all buildings need lighting!

Polaris Light can provide you with leads to support you alongside your own self-generation. You will be provided with a substantial database of leads for you to use if you wish.

Expansion is rapidly increasing for Polaris Light; they have entered the retail market with a storm and are supplying lighting for some of the UK’s biggest warehouses and factories.

We are inviting applications from experienced B2B consultants who can develop Polaris Light even further into markets they have not yet explored – and indeed maximise potential from current markets.


Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

The right person for this role may not necessarily come from a lighting background; however it is essential that you have direct sales experience.

Good communication skills are important, as well as organisational skills and the ability to plan ahead.

A full and clean drivers licence.

Personal qualities

You will be aware that rejection from potential clients is part of this role; resilience is key in ensuring the rejections don’t affect your performance.

Attitude and work ethic is more significant than experience – with over 50 combined years of sales experience, the company directors are happy to support you at each stage, however you need to show that you are tenacious and profit driven in order to be successful in this role.

Qualifications required

High school or equivalent.
