You will learn to become competent in the management of the complete Sales and Manufacturing processes for all products produced in the workshop. Also learning to produce Engineering Drawings using their CAD system, to support the manufacturing and sales process. The apprenticeship will follow a Technical Support route to learn all aspects of how the business runs and supports Customers.

A normal day would include

The role is to provide technical support to commercial and manufacturing activities across the site. Developing working knowledge of MRP and CAD systems.

The role is largely office based, but will involve close shop floor liaison and customer contact.

You will develop practical shop floor knowledge to gain a good understanding of the manufacturing processes for all products.

You will develop your skills to understand and interpret a wide range of technical specifications and drawings. This will lead to you becoming competent in the production of technical drawings and documentation for shop floor manufacture and customer quotations and approval.

Your aim will be to become fully competent to provide Technical Support for any site or customer support requests as a full member of the Technical Team

Working correctly at all times to the company Environmental, ISO quality and H&S procedures.

Producing and maintaining accurate records in accordance with role requirements.

Demonstrating continual commitment to develop your skills and knowledge throughout your apprenticeship.

Qualifications required

The successful candidate will have achieved GCSE minimum Grade C in Maths, English and Science. Good I.T. skills with GCSE Grade C or equivalent level of achievement is also required. Knowledge and Experience of CAD Packages would be a distinct advantage
