Advanced Level Apprenticeship
- Provide remote software support to a large volume of customers
- Design various documents and materials
- Provide customer support via telephone and face to face
- Administrative tasks
- Making calls to clients
DataFreight has a highly scalable set of applications used by organisations both large, small and everywhere in between. It is currently deployed in over 400 locations in the UK as well as overseas. DataFreight is one of the most globally distributed UK-developed forwarding products available. The prospective Apprentice will need to be able to work with the fast-paced development of the company as well as being very confident on the telephone.
Requirements and prospects
- Computer literate.
- IT knowledge – software preferable.
- Knowledge of coding languages preferable.
- Good customer service skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Positive attitude.
- Ideally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents).

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Southampton for up to 12 weeks on a block release basis for structured training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals. The qualifications consist of:
- Edexcel Advanced Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web and Telecoms.
- Level 3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence.
- Level 3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles.
- Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths, ICT (if applicable).
