About the employer

The Kings Head, in the pretty village of Shadoxhurst near Ashford, Kent, exudes period charm while offering modern facilities, good food, good service and good value. The building dates back in part to 1580 and retains some fine architectural features, notably the old porch with the family crest of the original owners. Ideally located for woodland walks and countryside rambles, we offer a comfortable and attractively furnished bar which serves up to six real ales, an excellent selection of wine and a variety of soft drinks. We're very proud of the fact that we have a cask marque and a place in the good beer guide. And don't miss our pub quiz! Held on the last Sunday of every month, the quiz starts at 7:30pm and costs £2.00 per person to join in. All money collected goes to charity.
