About the employer

Sugar and Ice are Leicestershire’s largest cake decorating specialist. From our two stores we provide our customers with all the equipment & ingredients required to make their own cakes; we hire out equipment including tins and cakes stands; run training courses in house; and create bespoke wedding and celebration cakes too. We are looking for a Customer Service Apprentice to work within our Leicester location (they may have the opportunity to work within our Coalville store too). The candidate will be required to work retail hours where they will interact with many different customers; the interactions vary from taking complex wedding cake orders to offering advice on the best techniques and products available. We’re an SME this means that on at least a weekly basis you’ll be working with one of the directors of the Company, who will provide you with an insight into the operational side of retail, such as customer service via multiple channels and ensuring orders of stock are placed on time
