The vacancy is for a Lettings Negotiator Apprentice, who will be responsible directly to the Lettings Account Manager, also carrying out, as required, tasks for the Branch Manager and Directors including some sales administration and general office support. The job is predominantly office-based but may occasionally include accompanying viewings.

    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour from 1st April 2017. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.

Training provider

Full and in-depth training will be given. There is no need to worry about travelling to a college as all of our Trainers will visit you at your place of employment on a monthly basis. 

The APPRENTICESHIP programme will last for 12 months and you will achieve a Level 2 Residential Property Lettings and Management QCF qualification, Functional Skills in Maths, English (if required). You will be based in the employer’s office so you gain 12 months’ work experience, and the opportunity for an interview for a permanent role at the end of a successful APPRENTICESHIP.

This is an APPRENTICESHIP; and Government Funding is available for 16-24 years old. However, applicants of all ages are able to apply.
