You’ll learn about fundraising, customer service, analysing data, bid writing, setting a budget, organising events and administration.

And through your work you will play your part in our team, helping us to raise thousands of pounds to support those affected by domestic abuse and violence.

Scope of Job:

  • Assisting fundraisers with daily tasks and projects
  • Writing and sending request for funding letters
  • Learning in a fast moving environment
  • Assisting with volunteers and collections
  • Providing support to volunteers
  • Events support and assistance
  • Providing excellent customer service to supporters
  • Support with social media campaigns
  • Researching new areas and providing feedback

Qualifications required

5 GCSE’s grade A*-C (ideally with B or above in English) or equivalent.

Future prospects

Continued employment expected but dependant on current funding situation.

Things to consider

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
