    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

  • Working week

    For those aged 18 and under, the number of hours worked per week will be 30. Monday to Friday. Working times are flexible – the earliest start time would be 8.30am and the latest finish time would be 6pm.

You will be working within the customer administration team, supporting with various administration duties. Attention to detail, dedication and team work are essential to the success of this position. In turn we will support you with your recognised qualification and development within your role.
Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Handling post, data entry, administering customer applications
  • Documentation printing, verifying details for accuracy before sending
  • General office duties as required
  • Liaising with Insurers via email and telephone as appropriate
  • Capture and record accurate customer information using our internal computer systems
