The first 10 days will be spent in the office undergoing training. After this, the apprentice will accompany an engineer within and around the M25 area.

  • Work Alongside an Engineer.
  • System maintenance, installation and commissioning works.
  • Planning activities for maximum efficiency.
  • Promoting the Company’s products and services.
  • Support other Engineers.
  • Maintaining customer relationships.
  • Review Design of Systems.
  • Liaise with Administrative Team.

  • Basic engineering skills as per 1st year at PROCAT.

Qualifications required

  • Basic knowledge of electrical installation/ Health & Safety at work.
  • A*- D grades in Maths and English as a minimum. PROCAT will determine suitability by interview.

Future prospects

After successful completion of the apprentice, Phoenix are looking to offer a full time position to the right person.

Travel card provided Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.

About the employer

The company provides in-house training for Intruder Alarm, Access Control and Fire installations supported by the manufacturer’s equipment training.
