Overall Purpose of Job:

To effectively manage machines, spare parts and ancillary stock to ensure that all customer/sales requests are fulfilled within defined timelines.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Ensure machine stock is in the correct locations
  • Create WTR's for the remanufacturing plant
  • Complete WTR's for remanufacturing stock
  • Ensure that all stock levels are maintained as per monthly forecasts and instructions
  • Stock transfer/book in machine collections, once returned to the warehouse collections and to ensure that machines are in the right locations as and when required
  • Carry out scheduled and adhoc machine stock as and when required
  • Manage incoming calls from customers
  • Manage machine delivery dates with Relay distribution
  • Ensure that all machine stock (on customers’ orders) are in the correct location by the end of the month for the order to be processed
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure any logistics/delivery/supplies issues are addressed quickly and efficiently with information back to the customer
  • Perform admin tasks as required
  • Perform any additional tasks as instructed by Logistics Manager from time to time

Qualifications required

GCSE Grade C and above or equivalent in Mathematics, English, and 3 others. IT would be an advantage.

Like all apprenticeships, this requires a long term commitment - there will be assignments and log book entries to complete. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a world class company whilst you work towards Nationally recognised qualifications. The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
