To disassemble vending machines in preparation to commence remanufacturing process.

To clean, adjust and reassemble machine components to ready them for the production of machines by the workshop builders.

All preparation work should be carried out in strict time frames to allow the monthly forecast to be met.

Attention for quality and accuracy is critical to this role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Machine stripping, pre build preparation
  • Cleaning machine carcasses
  • Spray paint preparation
  • Descaling and rebuilding of tank assemblies
  • Preparation of machine assemblies; cleaning, checking and testing
  • Restocking of assembly shelves
  • Simple building projects

Like all apprenticeships, this requires a long term commitment - there will be assignments and log book entries to complete. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a world class company whilst you work towards Nationally recognised qualifications. The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
