Some of your duties and responsibilites in this role will include:

  • Work alongside the Systems and Infrastructure Administrator to ensure IT platforms (including telephony) operate sufficiently to allow business activity to work as efficiently as possible
  • Perform administrative and maintenance tasks on internal systems and platforms
  • Provide 1st line support to internal end users of IT systems. This support will include some end user training. Where appropriate, escalate to 2nd line support
  • Install and maintain basic company hardware.
  • Work towards ensuring compliance with ISO27001 Security Standards
  • Provide support to development team
  • Provide effective user and license management to deliver value for the business
  • Understand and Maintain IT logs such as security incident, Support etc.

Training provider

The Estio Training IT Apprenticeship programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.

Learners will receive seven weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual assessment, and help and guidance from a dedicated trainer who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience. 

Training will lead to industry-recognised qualifications including: 

  • Infrastructure Technician Standard
  • CompTIA A+ 
  • Functional skills, Maths L2, English L2 and ICT L2
