Qualifications required

5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grade C or above including English and Maths.

Subject to vacancies at the end of the training there could be a position available.

Things to consider

All applications are subject to a successful pre selection interview day at Hertford Regional College. Training on the Apprenticeships Programme for 16 to18 year olds is a priority and fully funded by government. Training for apprenticeships for those over this age is part funded by employers and they are expected to make part or full contribution. The National Minimum Wage (NMW) for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour. Anyone not covered by the age category above will be entitled to the NMW appropriate to their age. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent training. Outside learning is part of everyday provision – so be expected to be outside in all weathers.
