Traineeship details

Traineeships are a Pre-Apprenticeship programme, designed to support learners into either an Apprenticeship or into full time work. The course focuses on work skills, employability, extra-curricular support, independent skills, ICT, English and Maths.

The course will be three days in College, followed by two in work placement, over twelve weeks, then for the final month of the programme, you will be able to increase your hours to three or more days. When the course finishes, you will receive an interview with your placement provider and support from the Traineeships team to facilitate your next steps.

As a trainee with Cadbury House you will learn all about working successfully in the hospitality industry.

The ideal candidate for this Traineeship will be an enthusiastic person with a passion for hospitality and a desire to start a career in this dynamic industry. 

During the Traineeship with Cadbury House you will learn about all aspects of hospitality. 

Including, Front of house assistance, professional cookery, house keeping and customer service.

Some daily duties may include:

  • Answering phone calls
  • Greeting customers
  • Preparing food and work stations
  • Waiting on tables 
  • Serving meals and clearing tables
  • Providing an excellent level of customer​ service
  • Managing a diary system 
  • Responding to emails
  • Light cleaning
  • Handling money
