What you will do in your working day

You will primarily work within our Production and Hire department.

As a Live Event Technician Apprentice, you will learn and work directly in the following areas:

  • Warehouse operations and systems including how equipment is checked in and out
  • Equipment preparation, testing and maintenance
  • Calculating power requirements and how to design systems
  • Networking and infrastructure systems
  • Logistics and calculating loads for transport
  • How to interpret designers’ requirements and deliver shows
  • Fault finding in equipment and systems
  • Rigging basics

  • Studying Level 3 Creative Industries Production Technician (LET)
  • Functional maths and English Skills (if required)
