What you will do in your working day
Main Duties:
- Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing) and continence care (toileting and catheter care)
- Preparing meals and drinks
- Administering medication
- Using moving and handling equipment
- Liaising with GPs, nurses, occupational therapists, social workers and other professionals
- Working with members of the team on a daily basis
- Identifying causes for concern with our customers and reporting to management
The training you will be getting
- The learner will be studying the Lead Adult Care Worker Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard and earn a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care qualification
- Day release to West Suffolk College
- Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held
