What you will do in your working day

You will be taught and achieve an understanding of the whole bakery process including:

  • Weighing up ingredients.
  • Bread mixing, fermentation and proving.
  • How to operate our ovens to produce high quality breads and rolls.
  • Confectionery skills to include: creaming, piping and coating.
  • How to produce savoury products.
  • The main contact within the organisation will be the Day Bakery Manager.

The training you will be getting

  • Level 2 Baker. 
  • All training is carried out at the workplace.
