What you will do in your working day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate legal professionals.
  • Handle incoming calls with professionalism, providing information on legal services as needed. Manage email correspondence with clients and legal staff.
  • Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and organizing meetings for legal consultations.
  • Support various administrative tasks, including document preparation and data entry.
  • Learn and grow under the mentorship of experienced legal professionals.

The training you will be getting

All learners will have a dedicated trainer/assessor who will plan learning and assessments with you. The assessment methods used will include the following:

  • Observation and assessment in the workplace
  • Exams Course work
  • Portfolio of evidence
  • Witness Testimony

College attendance will be required one day per week. You will receive regular workplace assessments which will assess competency and you will be required to sit a number of exams during the programme in addition to creating a portfolio of learning. 20% of the training will be delivered off the job and this can include: Simulation, online learning or training from employers, shadowing, mentoring, industry visits, attendance at competitions and support in writing assignments.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Upon successful completion, the apprentice will be offered a full-time position with the company
