Summary

Natural Innovations is seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Operations Engineer Technician Apprentice to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our production equipment and facilities. Key tasks include troubleshooting machinery, performing preventative maintenance.

Wage

£14,722.50 to £23,809.50, depending on your age

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining valuable knowledge and practical experience in maintaining and optimising production equipment and facilities. You'll be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and scheduled maintenance on machinery to ensure everything runs efficiently and safely
  • Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical faults, minimising downtime and ensuring production targets are met.
    Installation: Assist in installing new equipment and ensuring it is set up correctly and operates efficiently
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in production equipment quickly to prevent disruptions
  • Health & Safety: Follow all health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others
  • Learning & Development: Take part in training and development opportunities, gaining new skills and knowledge to support your role and career growth

  • Embedded qualification to ensure all knowledge is provided (Diploma in Engineering Technology)
  • Training will be delivered one day per week, term time, and is based at The Highfield site and facilities are in creation to enrich the student experience, developing them with the necessary skills using industry recognised equipment to ensure the apprentice receives training closely matched to the employer’s and Industry

GCSE in:

Maths and English (grade 4-9)
