What you will do in your working day

  • Maintain excellent standards of personal, food and kitchen hygiene.
  • Ensure compliance to procedures, menu specifications and recipes.
  • Produce food, meeting portion controls, and budgetary constraints.
  • Adapting and produce dishes to meet special dietary, religious and allergenic requirements.
  • Follow, complete and maintain production schedules, legislative and quality standard documentation.
  • Use specialist kitchen equipment.
  • Communicate internally and externally with customers and colleagues.
  • Commit to personal development activities.

The training you will be getting

Full induction and ongoing training and mentoring. Apprentices will also have an allocated College Assessor who will make regular visits to the restaurant and conduct on-site training as well as conduct three-way reviews to ensure momentum and progress.

Level 2 Production Chef.

English and maths qualifications form a mandatory part of all apprenticeships and must be completed before an apprentice can pass through gateway.

Things to consider

Staff at the moment all live locally in the area and currently walk home or share rides together. We will hold staff training sessions together and get people to work together. Also we have staff appreciation days, and staff nights out during the Christmas and summer season.

We are situated in Crosby, we have a good relaxing vibe during the week and then on weekends we have more of an upbeat atmosphere. We are a family run business, we pride ourselves on the local area. All our staff are local and we use as many suppliers as possible. We are a growing company and looking at new way to expand. We have new and exciting events happening.
