What you will do in your working day

Your duties will include:

  • Assist in provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor the performance and health of various systems.
  • Collaborate with other team members to refine software delivery processes and improve efficiency.
  • Document processes, and procedures maintaining an accessible and well-organised knowledge repository.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in the DevOps field, actively seeking opportunities for learning and development.
  • Provide support to development teams in deployment and troubleshooting activities.
  • Assist in identifying areas for process improvement in Agile deliveries.

The training you will be getting

  • DevOps Engineer Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard qualification
  • Training will be delivered both in college and in the workplace
  • Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the End-Point Assessment
