What you will do in your working day

To work with Manufacturing Technology Engineers to:

  • Provide technical support to commercial scale manufacturing and packaging operations.
  • Monitor production lines and collect maintenance, reject and down time data to understand how the lines are running and where improvements can be made.
  • Generate technical documentation to be used by operators and technicians.
  • Operate in accordance with safety, regulatory and company standards.
  • Regular and punctual attendance at the university and completion of the associated courses will lead to the attainment of a BEng(Hons) degree in Manufacturing Engineering

The training you will be getting

BEng (Hons) Manufacturing Engineering Degree Apprenticeship (Level 6) 

80% is on-the-job learning. The remaining 20% is through 'blended learning' - a combination of face-to-face and online teaching. Face-to-face sessions are usually delivered in blocks and we can be flexible, arranging them to fit around the workplace.
