What you will do in your working day
• You will get a chance to support our furniture team during your apprenticeship by placing furniture orders, checking all the orders are correct, preparing delivery schedules, invoicing and learning about the commercial furniture and interior design industry.
• Attend product lunch and learns to learn about new products within the industry.
• Opportunities to visit manufacturer showrooms and events
• Opportunities to visit live sites and see completed projects
• Working with the design team to put together furniture finishes schedules
• You will be undertaking all the tasks and learning required as an apprentice in order to become a competent Administrator at the end of the apprenticeship scheme.
• You’ll experience different aspects of office administration and work closely alongside experienced members of the team.
• Assisting with reception, fielding telephone calls and welcoming visitors.
• You will also be required to spend a proportion of your time undertaking the Business Administrator Level 3 Standard qualification and will gain a range of experience whilst learning from professionals within the organisation.
The training you will be getting
Working towards your Level 3 Business Administration qualification. Day release for a 12-week period during the apprenticeship at Warrington & Vale Royal College.
