What you will do in your working day

Technologies Used: Our primary technologies include:

  • C#
  • .NET for backend development
  • React/TypeScript for frontend development.

Previous experience with these technologies is not required, but a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.

The ideal candidate will spend 80% of their time focused on problem-solving, possess a willingness to learn new programming languages, and have an interest in exploring new technologies. This position is based at our office on Stourport Road in Kidderminster and offers the opportunity to be involved in the entire software development lifecycle. The candidate should also demonstrate the ability to write high-quality code.

The training you will be getting

Software Developer Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard:

The successful candidate will undertake a twenty-four month, nationally recognised qualification through TDM. This is a work-based learning programme which will require commitment to block weeks in an online training room once every quarter working towards the qualification along with weekly off the job training and monthly coaching sessions.

You will be required to demonstrate through the standard that you meet all competencies and behaviours, which will lead to the achievement of the qualification. These block weeks will take place virtually on TDMs virtual learning platform.

You will have a designated mentor in the workplace to support your learning and at the end of programme will be assessed via an external assessment body.

This is a Level 4 qualification.
