What you will do in your working day

The successful candidate will fulfil the position of HR Advisor. (This may be subject to change based on business performance or other factors). This role although single site will also connect in with the wider division and therefore the successful candidate will benefit through working with other HR professionals and sites in a very large corporate organization.

The role is to provide a professional HR administration and advisory service to the Filtration and Energy Solutions Division encompassing recruitment, employee relations, performance management employee engagement and development.

  • Point of contact for 1st level HR advice and support to team leaders
  • HR Administration to ensure HR systems, policies and reports are administered in an accurate and timely manner
  • Advise line managers on a day to day basis on all matters of employment and employee relations
  • Ensure all legislative requirements are met with regards to employment law and agreed standards of best practice are implemented
  • Maintain the recruitment, selection and induction process for all permanent, temporary and agency employees
  • Conduct interviews together with managers
  • Provide the location management with support, guidance and clarification on all matters related discipline, grievance and flexible working requests.  Ensure that a consistent and legislatively compliant approach is taken in each case
  • Conduct disciplinary investigations
  • Support the provision of training and development
