What you will do in your working day
- The successful candidate will be working within a fast paced food manufacturing environment, providing an opportunity to join a multi-skilled Engineering team as an apprentice Engineer
- You will have exposure to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic engineering and learn with a hands on approach.
- Exposure will also be given to control and environmental systems
- You will join a small and dynamic, hands on maintenance/ engineering team who can be involved in anything from preventative maintenance, to urgent reactive maintenance for site needs
- Creativity and innovation is encouraged within the industry as often engineering solutions can be tailor made and bespoke to our workplace
- You must be able to follow instruction and be a responsible individual
The training you will be getting
- You will be enrolled onto a Level 3 Engineering Technician (Mechatronics Maintenance) apprenticeship with Cornwall College St Austell
- You will be required to attend the college one day per week (term time only)
