What you will do in your working day

Duties include:

  • Answering calls for a busy office
  • Operating switch board and take messages
  • Be the first point of contact for customers visiting at reception
  • Receipting supplier goods in Profit4 electronic system
  • Matching delivery notes to invoices
  • Purchase Invoice Processing to high accuracy
  • Chasing suppliers for delivery dates
  • Despatching goods to customers (pallets and parcels) both UK and Ireland
  • Filing
  • Open and distribute daily inbound post
  • Produce works orders for busy factory
  • Procurement of general workshop and office supplies
  • Support managers
  • Microsoft Word

The training you will be getting

Training will take place at the business and no attendance at college will be required.

  • Business Administrator Level 3
  • Functional Skills in English and maths if required
  • Training provided on despatching goods to customers (pallets and parcels) both UK and Ireland
  • Training on Profit4 Software
  • Supported and taught by experienced colleagues
  • Training location and method to be confirmed
