What you will do in your working day
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with the opportunity to work remotely some of the time. However, you will be expected to visit the Kingsbridge office regularly to collaborate with the team, participate in meetings, and ensure effective communication. Additionally, there will be a requirement to attend your Off the Job Training day in person at South Devon College once a week.
In this role, you'll play a vital role in developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive sales and brand awareness while also participating in lead generation activities. You'll work closely with the team to learn the EPOS industry and gain valuable marketing skills through practical experience. There may also be opportunities to support with customer-facing activities like installations and customer service. This well-rounded experience will give you a holistic understanding of the EPOS business and position you for future growth within DWC Services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to understand the needs of businesses in South Devon (your existing experience will be a huge asset!)
- Develop and create engaging content (e.g., blog posts, social media content) showcasing the benefits of EPOS systems for a variety of businesses
- Manage social media presence to build relationships with potential customers and promote DWC Services
- Participate in outbound lead generation activities, such as warm calls or targeted email outreach to leads generated through marketing efforts. These efforts can lead directly to commissionable sales!
- Assist with running email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and generate sales inquiries
- Support with website maintenance and content updates
- Track and analyze marketing performance to measure campaign effectiveness
- Help with administrative tasks related to marketing activities
- Assist with customer-facing activities like installations and customer service (a chance to gain valuable firsthand experience)

In addition to the training provided within the workplace, weekly sessions will take place at South Devon College, Paignton Campus to support with the knowledge element of the apprenticeship.
