Monday to Friday 40 hours per week during our standard business hours between 8am and 6pm [e.g. 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm]. The apprentice will be encouraged to take an hour lunch break during the working day.

What you will do in your working day
We are looking for a rigorous, and quality-conscious data technician to collect, organise, and process information/data related to the insurance industry. The successful candidate will join our high performance insurance academy, a hands-on training programme that covers a combination of technical, business, and soft skills that are directly implemented in the day-to-day job. Tasks will include;
- Data collection - from public sources related to insurance companies and insurance trends. This data will feed to our pricing models developed in excel.
● Data entry – entering data into excel models /
computer systems
● Data formatting - editing of existing information
● Data analysis - report findings to the
management, analysing trends
● Visualisation tools - using visualisation tools such as Power Bi and Excel to present data
The training you will be getting
Data Technician Level 3:
- Modules covering Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours in Data
- You'll have a personal assessor to guide you through your training
- You will attend one-to-one sessions with your assessor every 2/3 weeks
- Technical training
- Occasional online group sessions to meet and network with other learners
- Functional Skills in English and maths if required
- End Point Assessment (online)
