    The working week will be Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.00pm. Hours may differ slightly but will remain the same duration i.e. 7.00am to 3.00pm.

What you will do in your working day

  • Supervision of specialist contractors involved in glazed partition installations.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards on construction sites, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Record, control, and report progress on projects, ensuring timelines are met and milestones achieved.
  • Minimise the environmental impact of projects through sustainable practices and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Maintain control of the quality of works on projects, implementing quality assurance measures and conducting inspections as required.
  • Assist commercial team with monitoring costs on projects, contributing to budget management and cost control efforts.

The training you will be getting

  • Level 4 qualification in Construction and Built Environment

As well as invaluable "on the job" experience working alongside an experienced Contracts Manager, the successful candidate will train at Crawley College on either a day release or twilight programme (subject to agreement with the college).

Upon completion of the apprenticeship there will be possible progression into higher apprenticeships OR progression in the workplace up to Contracts Manager.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the successful candidate would be promoted to Contracts Manager and be responsible for running his/her own individual projects.

Things to consider

- The successful candidate will ideally be able to drive to and from the local train station to get in to London. All travel expenses covered - The role may require flexible hours where the successful candidate may be required on site earlier than start date, but this will be reflected on finishing times (i.e. start at 7am, finish at 3pm)
