The purpose of the role is to provide a customer focused, effective and efficient accounts payable function by handling supplier queries, processing invoices, preparing the supplier pay run and handling telephone calls.

What you will do in your working day
- Process all aspects of Supplier Invoices
- Allocate correct cost centre codes
- Charge to the relevant nominal ledger codes
- Reconcile goods received notes to the purchase invoice
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Manage supplier queries
- Understand and support with supplier payruns
- Provide administrative support to both the Finace and HR deparment
The training you will be getting
- An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence. You will be
expected to work towards the Account or Finance Assistant Level 2, with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group. - Level 2 AAT qualification
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- Sterigenics are looking to offer a permanent role with progression via the apprenticeship funding stream on to the Level 3 AAT then Level 4 AAT before you enrol onto the ACCA accounting qualification
