What you will do in your working day
As a Business Administration/Finance Support Apprentice, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Support finance manager on business milestones, these can be weekly, monthly and annual
- Ensure the business has accounted for any missing entries in the ledgers and review them weekly
- Ensure department emails are monitored, reviewed, categorised, and archived
- Process purchase orders and enter purchase ledger invoices
- Answering calls/emails and dealing with client queries in a professional and helpful manner
- Adhere to company procedures and policies
- Develop and complete a project, considering improvements to the organisational processes
You’ll develop your skills alongside the Finance team to improve efficiencies across the business whilst driving the business strategy. You’ll learn a variety of duties and support the whole business to continued growth. You’ll be taught and mentored by a manager who is well versed in the job role and industry, to achieve your full potential and share in the company’s success.

The training you will be getting
- The Apprentice Standard you will be studying is Business Administration – Level 3
- The successful candidate will continue their studies with apprenticeship specialists, RNN Group both remotely and from one of their campuses, giving you the flexible training and support you need to become an all-rounded and successful Administrator and Finance Assistant
- Fuctional Skills in both Matths and English if required.
