    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

    Monday to Thursday, 8.15am to 5.00pm with an unpaid 30 minutes lunch break from 1.00pm to 1.30pm. Friday, 8.30am to 1.00pm with no lunch break.

What you will do in your working day

Typical apprentice duties will include:       

  • Working alongside Solicitors to assist them on working on cases
  • Filing, scanning and uploading documents
  • Generating letters to relevant parties
  • Reviewing documents
  • Speaking with clients and other associated parties
  • Updating our case management system
  • Organising mail

The training you will be getting

  • The successful candidate will work towards achieving a level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship qualification (ST0245).
  • The apprentice will work 4 days per week at the employer's workplace in Bolton (BL2 1BJ) and attend 1 day per week (6 hours) at Bolton College (BL3 5BG).

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • On competition of the qualification, the successful candidate may be offered full time employment.
  • There may also be the opportunity to progress to a higher-level apprenticeship qualification.
