What you will do in your working day

• Under the guidance of the Finance Manager, ensure all financial transactions are recorded promptly and accurately
• Assist the Finance Manager in ensuring that tax, VAT, and other tax and regulatory provisions are fully complied with
• Assist the Finance Manager with the checking and processing of client invoices
• Support colleagues within the business by answering telephone and email enquiries from them on behalf of their clients
• Support the Finance Manager with purchase ledger administration
• Assist with the management of queries from suppliers by telephone and email
• Assist with the reconciliation of bank, supplier, and client transactions
• Support the Finance Manager with the preparation of reports

The training you will be getting

  • Day release at Middlesbrough College 
  • On and off-the-job training 
  • AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting qualification
