What you will do in your working day

  • Your responsibilities will include providing a range of beauty treatments to clients, such as facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing, and more.
  • You will need to have an understanding and the knowledge to performs these treatments. We will help guild you into mastering them to deliver high-quality services that meet the needs and preferences of each client.
  • In addition to performing treatments, you will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised work environment, managing appointments, reception tasks and ensuring client satisfaction through excellent customer service.
  • Communication skills are key in this role, as you will be interacting with clients to understand their requirements, educate them on skincare routines, and promote additional products or services within Rebel Rebel.

The training you will be getting

  • You will complete the Level 3 Advanced Beauty Therapist Apprenticeship Standard and on completion receive either a grade Pass or Distinction. Alongside the apprenticeship you will also complete a Level 3 Beauty Theraphy diploma, for which you will receive a grade Pass.
  • In addition to the apprenticeship standard you will complete Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English, if you don't have GCSEs grades C/4 or above or equivalent. You would study maths and English during your day in college. You won't be able to sit your final assessment until you have a Level 2 maths and English qualification.
  • This will be a day-release to the Eastbourne campus once a week, term time only. In addition to day-release the assessor will visit you in the workplace. We provide you with lots of support in your treatment development and in mastering your treatments, giving you the confidence you need you grow.
  • You will also have in-house training in customer service, reception, barista training and a staff induction.
  • Throughout your apprenticeship, you will receive training in things such as massage and we will give you guidance to develop your skills and knowledge in the beauty industry. By the end of the program, you will be equipped to work independently as a qualified level 3 Beauty Therapist, providing professional and personalised beauty services to enhance the well-being of your clients.

- Our stunning treatment rooms are spa worthy offering a luxury setting and experience for our clients. We have won multiple awards and our therapists have competed in the national massage championships. - Our business takes pride on the community aspect of the business and often have social events with our clients as well as the staff. We have 4 employed members of staff within Rebel Rebel however we have over 10 subcontractors using the space for either their fitness business or treatment business (aesthetics and semi-permanent makeup). -We believe that everyone should be treated with respect and as an individual, this is something we incorporate within all our services and how we treat our staff. Your opinion will always be heard and taken into consideration, and we love implementing ideas from our team. - As long as you have good hygiene, a clean uniform, along with the basics (short nails, no jewellery that can compromise a treatment and hair neatly back etc), we welcome tattoos and piercings. - We have a coffee counter serving delicious coffee from a local bean supplier that works closely with homeless and dog charities. Here you and our clients can pick up snacks. - Rebel Rebel is a gym and treatment centre, however we are not your typical gym so don’t let that put you off, from our art work, plants, parties, music, clients and atmosphere you will not find any gym like it. Our motto is fitness is for everyone no matter your age, background and ability. Our client base is so vast with so many different backgrounds and they will no doubt make you feel right at home. - We are looking for a friendly and approachable person to join our team. Passion for the industry is key, as well as a willingness to learn and keep up with industry trends. A person who is open, non-judgmental, with empathy and caring nature.
