What you will do in your working day
Work alongside experienced engineers and technicians to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on aircraft and aerospace systems, including inspections, repairs, and component replacements. Acquire knowledge of maintenance manuals, technical publications, and regulatory requirements pertinent to aerospace maintenance practices. Follow established procedures and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks. Familiarise yourself with various tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices used in aerospace maintenance activities. Able to carry out Fitting, Welding, Fabrication, Plumbing and Joinery, where required, in order to ensure the site is well maintained at all times. Assist in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts replaced, and inspections conducted. Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, ensuring guidelines are followed in accordance with the Company Health & Safety policy and legislative requirements
