What you will do in your working day

Tasks include but not limited to:

  • Prepare sales documents (Sales Orders) as requested by the Sales Manager
  • Ensure all Sales Orders are signed
  • Raise purchase orders as required for stock and transport
  • Update company booking log of all contained and truck loadings and intakes
  • Prepare intakes and releases and send to the cold store
  • Shredding documents
  • Order lunches for colleagues as required
  • Co-ordinate office waste – once a week
  • Prepare welcome notices for visitors
  • Greet visitors
  • Run daily administrative tasks to control bins from MOWI
  • Perform general admin tasks as required
  • Order stationary and control stock
  • Raise sales orders for stock
  • Work within the Purely Fish team – tasks include preparing, packing and sending orders

The training you will be getting

  • You will work towards a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard
  • This apprenticeship consists of a mixture of off the job training and on the job mentoring and development within the workplace
  • You will be be required to attend Cornwall College St Austell on a fortnightly basis (during term times)
  • Functional Skills in English and maths if required

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • May wish to explore a higher level apprenticeship 
  • Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship there might be potential to progress within the company
