What you will do in your working day

  • The Setting, running and programming of CNC Turning and Milling Centres
  • Working in conjunction with our BSI ISO 9001-2015 quality management system
  • Setting & operating of CNC turning & milling centres
  • Reading and understanding of technical drawings
  • Job planning, showing initiative and being part of a team
  • Safe and competent operation of manual hand tools and machinery
  • Inspection of components using the latest equipment and maintaining tolerances

The training you will be getting

  • Machining Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
  • Functional Skills English and Maths if required
  • Training will be done at our premesis in Salfords, Surrey and at Crawley College or East Surrey College, Redhill
