What you will do in your working day
- Providing excellent customer service to all customers always when you are in the business.
- Running food to tables and clearing tables.
- Serving drinks and coffees as required on each given shift.
- Fulfilling your role on each given shift.
- Responding positively to requests from team leaders and management.
- Having a strong working relationship with the kitchen team.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the building.
- Cash handling.
- Reporting any complaints to management.
- Having good menu knowledge.
- Having good drinks knowledge.
The training you will be getting
You will be studying towards the Level 2 Hospitality Team Member qualification. All training will be in the workplace with our workbased trainer so no need to attend college.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
The Briny prides itself on offering development opportunities based on regular performance reviews. Joining as a team member, candidates can then progress to host level followed by team leader. Under the umbrella of the Coastal Kitchen Family there are also opportunities to move within the company to one of our sister restaurants.
