What you will do in your working day
- You will be working within a multi-disciplinary office supported by other ground engineering professionals of all levels of experience.
- There will be opportunity to develop a strong base in ground engineering, problem solve and develop designs, or specialise in areas such as numerical modelling, seismic, risk and resilience, or sustainability.
- You will focus on geotechnical aspects at all stages of the project lifecycle, including desk studies, ground investigation, analysis & design, carbon management, construction supervision & monitoring, and asset management.
- You will have the opportunity to collaborate in multi-disciplinary project teams, working alongside experts in other Arup disciplines.
The training you will be getting
- A dedicated mentor will guide you through your personal and professional development.
- Level 7 Degree Apprenticeships have a typical duration of 3-6 years, during which you will attain both a professional and academic qualification(Geotechnics - University of Birmingham)to further your career.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- Our apprentices are employed on a permanent basis, so you'll continue to progress with Arup once you've completed your course.
