What you will do in your working day

  • Produce mechanical/ electrical parts/ assemblys/ products in line with the company objectives, performance, safety, quality, cost & delivery to support internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Identifies self training needs an works with Manager to organisers completion in line with business needs 
  • Manages the upkeep of area and equipment raising concerns allowing maintance reducing impact on the production schedule eliminating down time and improving H&S
  • Proactively conscious of cost and mindfull of waste
  • Works with collegues to continually improves the performance supporting safety, quality, delivery and cost
  • To complete any reasonable work request

The training you will be getting

  • An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence
  • You will be expected to work towards the Engineering Fitter Level 3, with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group
  • Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
