Hardworking person required to join our team as an apprentice motor vehicle technician. We are a busy family run business and offer full training in all aspects of motor vehicle maintenance and repair. The apprentice will attend college on a day release basis to acquire the recognised qualifications.

What you will do in your working day
There is never an average day at a vehicle workshop. Every day presents a new set of jobs and challenges. As part of a team the apprentice will be expected to work together with members of the workforce.
Work ranges from:
- General servicing
- MOT Assisting
- Cambelts
- Diagnosing of issues
- Tyre Fitting
Tasks to carry out include but are not limited to, upkeep of the workshop, assisting in MOTs, Basic Servicing, using diagnostic equipment, tyre changing etc.
Duties will be supervised and assisted if needed.
The training you will be getting
At the end of the apprenticeship training it is expected that the apprentice will receive their Level 3 qualification and become a qualified Vehicle Technician.
- Apprentice training will take place at our workshop near Chester City Centre
- The apprentice will be released for college study one day a week at a local college
- Functional Skills in English and maths if required
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- After completing your apprenticeship with D.J.Motors Ltd, if suitable an opportunity of permanent work as a qualified Vehicle Technician may be offered
