Apprentice chef required to work closely alongside the owner/chef in the kitchen. We are a family run restaurant and looking for that someone special to join us long-term to learn the daily management of the kitchen and restaurant and also the business side to running a restaurant.

What you will do in your working day
The right applicant will enjoy many benefits including equal share of tips, staff nights out, Christmas and new year holiday, plus time off for a summer break. We need someone reliable, enthusiastic and committed.
- Daily preparation of fish and seafood
- Making desserts, some meat and vegetarian/vegan dishes
- Buffets/small weddings and celebration catering as well as tapas dish preparation for the wine bar next door
- Also learning the health and safety management of the establishment
- Learning kitchen skills
- Chopping, prepping and serving
- Helping to prep our menu daily
- Helping maintain kitchen standards and stores
- Assist with kitchen equipment standard checks
- Assist with food preparation

- Level 2 Commis Chef Apprenticeship standard
