What you will do in your working day

High Legh Pre-School Nursery has been providing high quality, flexible childcare and early education for the children of High Legh and surrounding areas for more than 50 years. We operate from an idyllic converted cottage situated in the heart of the village and specifically designed to provide stimulating, child-centred facilities. We take great pride in delivering first-class care and early education for children aged six-months to five-years, providing a perfect home-from-home for your children. Set in a green and peaceful environment, our extensive gardens and outdoors facilities provide children with the freedom and opportunity to explore the great outdoors and learn about the abundance of nature on our doorstep. As a small setting, we offer up to 26 places per day and provide parents with both traditional pre-school hours and extended nursery hours from 8am to 6pm, 51 weeks per year. At our most recent Ofsted inspection in 2022, we were rated as ‘Good’. We operate in line with Covid-safe practices, with a real focus on outdoor learning, whereby we keep our children outdoors as much as possible while still preserving a nurturing and happy learning environment.
