We are now seeking to appoint a hardworking and reliable apprentice to join our growing team. Good numerical and communication skills are desirable. The successful applicant will have a confident personality and the ability to juggle a range of tasks in a very busy sales environment.

Our state of the art, Leeds city centre office on East Parade is located just 2 minutes’ walk from Leeds train station, with large breakout areas, including a bar and a pool table! 

This role will include Accounts and Administration duties and support across all areas of the business, with the aim to develop and have more responsibility during your apprenticeship. The role, after training, will include some of the following:

  • Entering new customer details onto our CRM systems 
  • Sending customer statements/invoices 
  • Processing expenses
  • Purchase Ledger processing
  • Sales Ledger processing
  • Book-keeping
  • Credit control
  • Retaining paperwork under GDPR guidelines and ensuring business compliance
  • General financial support for ongoing daily tasks
  • Support to the Head of Finance and other members of the team
  • A good telephone manner is essential
  • Ensuring that the policies of the company are observed and that good practice is encouraged, particularly in the areas of Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities and confidentiality

Desired qualifications

5 GCSEs at grades B/6 or above (or equivalent) including maths and English.

The salary will be reviewed regularly and could increase with experience.

Level 2 Accountants / Finance Assistant apprenticeship standard.  This includes:

  • AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting (Level 2)

Apprentices without Level 1 English and mathematics will need to achieve this level and have taken the test for Level 2 prior to taking their EPA.
