Summary
We are looking for a self-motivated and reliable Warehouse & Delivery Operative to join our growing team. You will be responsible for managing warehouse stock, preparing customer orders, assisting with deliveries, and helping to ensure furniture reaches our customers in perfect condition and on time.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
• Picking and preparing customer orders for delivery
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely
• Delivering furniture to customer homes with care and professionalism
• Assisting with on-site installations when required
• Maintaining a clean, organised warehouse
• Reporting stock discrepancies or damages
• Supporting the wider team when needed

- Load and unload products, considering the product that is to be moved and its current and planned destination.
- Use tools and equipment to aid in product handling.
- Use information technology and digital systems. Comply with GDPR and cyber security.
- Locate and use operational information, electronic or paper based, required to fulfil contractual requirements.
- Select, prepare, and use packaging materials that reduce waste and mitigate environmental impacts.
- support under instruction scheduled and unscheduled stock taking activities relevant to the organisation and product.
- Identify and escalate problems beyond own responsibility.
- Follow procedures in line with environmental and sustainability regulations, standards, and guidance. Segregate resources for reuse, recycling and disposal.
- Follow equity, diversity and inclusion rules.
- Carry out and record learning and development activities.

Training schedule
This programme is delivered via a block release delivery model. You will be working to complete a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative apprenticeship standard, including any required Functional Skills.
You will work with expert assessors and tutors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.
You will experience a blended learning model.

Desirable qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade 4)
- Maths (grade 4)
