Summary

As a Senior Estate Agent Team Leader, you will lead and motivate a team of estate agents to achieve sales targets, deliver exceptional customer service, and grow the agency’s market presence. You will manage day-to-day operations, mentor team members, and drive business development efforts.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of estate agents to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Oversee property listings, viewings, negotiations, and sales processes.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
  • Manage team performance through regular appraisals, feedback, and training.
  • Collaborate with marketing and administrative teams to support sales activities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Resolve client issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.

  • Use digital tools for planning and project management to monitor project progress, taking corrective action to deliver against the project plan.
  • Review work processes to identify opportunities to improve performance and for continuous improvement.
  • Use technology and software to produce documentation, such as spreadsheets and presentation packages to communicate information.
  • Manage individual or team performance by setting objectives, monitoring progress, and providing clear guidance and feedback.
  • Manage others through change by identifying challenges and the activities to resolve them.
  • Interpret organisational strategy and communicate how this impacts others.
  • Interpret and apply regulation and legislation, share best practices, and advise stakeholders on their application.

Training schedule

At Total, we provide blended learning face to face and online. The apprenticeship combines workplace learning with off-the-job training, covering leadership skills, team management, and communication. Learners receive guidance through coaching, assessments, and real work tasks. Progress is supported by regular feedback, reflective practice, and a final End Point Assessment to demonstrate competence.

Requirements

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • English (grade 4 or above)
  • Maths (grade 4 or above)

Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Other requirements

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance. 1/2 Years of experience as an estate agent. Experience managing property sales from listing to completion. Strong background in customer relationship management and negotiation. Driving Licence / Own Car.
