Hours
37.5 hours per week (30 min break unpaid) and will be working on shifts that could be: Early shift: 6.00am-2.00pm, Day shift: 8.00am-4.00pm, Late shift: 11.00am-7.00pm. Within this time, the apprentice will be entitled to 1 day/week to complete their studies.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Assisting the certified technicians in preparing and carrying out the overhaul, test and other servicing activities for batteries
  • Dealing with our logistic department reception into the battery workshop and the on-time delivery of orders to our customers
  • Preparing and organising battery certificates and other customer documentation
  • Supporting battery scrapping and recycling process in line with our sustainability objectives
  • Supporting the team in resolving any potential battery repair customer claim
  • House keeping procedures for the workshop (Quarantine, Tooling and equipment)

Training schedule

You’ll gain hands-on experience by spending around 80% of your time in the workplace, learning alongside experienced colleagues. The remaining 20% will be dedicated to workshops, online learning, and assignments, giving you the knowledge and skills to succeed in your career.
