We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Multi-Channel Marketer. This apprenticeship is designed to provide hands-on experience in marketing across various channels, enabling the successful candidate to develop a comprehensive skill set in digital, social media, and traditional marketing strategies.

What you'll do at work
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing:
- Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns
- Manage and optimise online content across various platforms
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess campaign effectiveness
Social Media Management:
- Create and schedule engaging content for various social media channels
- Monitor social media platforms for trends, discussions, and opportunities
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement social media strategies
Content Creation:
- Contribute to the creation of marketing collateral, including blog posts, articles, and visuals
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging
Data Analysis:
- Utilise analytical tools to assess marketing campaign performance
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis
Collaboration and Learning:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives
- Participate in training sessions and workshops provided by Velocity Academy

What you'll learn
Course contents
- Develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelines
- Plan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resources.
- Contribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign development.
- Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the project.
- Use copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organisational brand guidelines.
- Build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital media.
- Proofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive and is on brand.
- Use software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specification.
- Contribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and services.
- Organise offline and digital assets ensuring they are co-ordinated and legally compliant.
- Use a website content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated content.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organisation of marketing assets.
- Use technology and software packages to support day to day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations and project management.
- Identify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives.
- Monitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costs.
- Review campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimise the results.

Training schedule
Training to be provided:
Velocity apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry experienced training team. Using their expert knowledge, they will provide the skills necessary to succeed in the workplace and to expand future career prospects.
Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their programme.
Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer, with training in how to:
- Coordination and execution of specific marketing tasks, including the creation of marketing content
- Conducting market and customer research, tracking campaign analytics, and data collection
- Utilise relevant marketing software and systems and manage marketing administration tasks
- Procuring and supervising work delivered by both external and internal marketing suppliers

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
